ASSEMBLY NOTE: Ensure there are no moving parts that may cause damage to the cord. Step 2: Remove screws from the top panel to gain access to the plastic insert. Step 3: Remove plastic insert and replace with the LED Dayliner, run wire through one of the factory openings located behind DayLiner. Drill a 1/2” hole behind the DayLiner to route the wire and driver through the bumper. (Do NOT cut the driver off of the dayliner wire! This will void the warranty!) Step 4: Make sure the wire to the LED Dayliner is accessible before replacing Figure 1 and tightening the screws. Step 5: Locate the parking light (Figure 1). (NOTE: Passenger side shown.) Step 6: Twist the harness counterclockwise to disengage the locking mechanism before pulling out the parking light (Figure 2). (NOTE: You will have extra wire from the Putco Dayliner light so remove any excess wire that is not needed.) 1 of 2 www.putco.com Step 7: Remove the electrical tape from the plastic housing (Figure 3). Figure 3 Step 8: Pull back the black plastic housing to the access the wiring (Figure 4). (Note: If your wire colors differ you will need to use a voltage reader to identify the parking lights positive (+) wire and ground (-) wire.) (CAUTION: DO NOT CUT THE WIRES IN HALF!!!) Figure 4 Step 9: Attach the Putco Red (+) wire to the Factory Brown w/Blue Tracer (+) wire and the Putco Black (-) wire to the Factory Black (-) wire using the supplied scotch locks and your electrical crimping tool. Step 10: Reattach the parking light. Step 11: Verify everything is connected securely and turn the vehicle lights on to test the LED DayLiner. (NOTE: Your Putco LED DayLiner will only operate when the vehicle is on. Note: If your lights do not turn on verify the connection between the Factory and Putco wiring is secured properly. Black products have a 90 day warranty on the painted surface. Any defects resulting from faulty material or workmanship will be warranted by Putco and repaired or replaced at our discretion.
