Mrs Neale
Due to her continuing ill health, Mrs Neale has decided not to continue in her role as
Mrs Neale Assistant at our school.
Teaching
Mrs Neale joined the school 10 years ago as a ‘Dinner Lady’ and has got to know many of our
children and families well. She has been a well- regarded member of staff and will be missed
by
us all- We all wish her well, and hope you will say hello if you see her in the village!

Outdoor Play
We think it is important that the children are
able to play outside during morning and
lunchtime break whenever the weather
allows.
The weather is beginning to be very
changeable and it can feel cold, so we ask
that children have suitable coats for outdoor
play each day.
Anti Bullying Week 18- 22 November
All children will be taking part in
activities in their classes.
Rowan and Oak class children who want to
play football during lunch playtime can do so,
on the field, providing they have an additional
pair of outdoor shoes (and a suitable carrier).
Please be aware they may become muddy.
Following the successful cyber bullying play
with Year 4-6 last year, we have the return
of the Play in a Day theatre group who will
be working with Willow Class pupils on
‘Trouble in the Toybox’.
Parents are invited to attend the class
presentation of their play at the end of the
day on Wednesday 20 November at
2.30pm.
Congratulations to Ms Fincham!
We were delighted that Ms Fincham was a finalist in the ‘Individual Achievement’ Category
at the recent Pride of Norse Awards. This was for all the contributions she has made to the
school meals at Lyng, and her involvement with the school in other areas, such as our Food for
Life Action Group. Although not the winner on the night, we feel this is a fantastic achievement
for her against so many individuals in schools, care homes across Norfolk. Well done Ms Fincham
