Position: GM (HR) Company Summary Green Leaf Energy: The Company was established in 2009 under the guidance of XLRI Entrepreneurship Development Centre. The company works on the integrated value chain in biofuel and horticulture plantation. The company was one of the first companies in India to do convergence with MGNREGA and link employment generation with tree plantation. In 2012-13 alone, the company successfully completed plantation of 7 million saplings leading to sustainable employment for 1.4 lakh families across Bihar. The company has already tied up with BPCL, Indian Railways to build a biodiesel value chain in Bihar. We are supported by international organizations such as GreenBodhGaya and Up2Green, which support plantation initiatives across the world. Our company is also working on a World Bank funded project with Jeevika, State Rural Livelihood Mission, Department of Rural Development, Government of Bihar and National Rural Livelihood Mission, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to 90000 women SHGs across 18 blocks in Bihar through our multi pronged interventions. The project will soon be replicated across other states in India. Our livelihood interventions are focused on ensuring access to public entitlements viz. MGNREGA, create sustainable assets and build integrated value chains. The company plans to set up a 6000 Ton Straight Vegetable Oil, 6300 Ton Cattle Feed and 6300 Ton Organic Fertilizer extraction unit from tree borne oil seeds (Pongamia, Mahua) in Gaya, Bihar from April 2015. The company has already purchased land 7.5 acres for setting up the factory, and has got approval from State Investment Promotion Board, Department of Industry, Government of Bihar. The company is one of the fastest growing startups in India starting with a turnover of Rs. 27 lakhs in FY 2010-11 to a turnover of Rs. 32 crores in FY 2012-13. Our company won the First Prize in Bihar Innovation Forum award among 491 social enterprises across India, a World Bank event, and got a cash award of Rs. 7 lakhs. Job Description GM (HR) will be responsible for overall HR function of GLE. He will be responsible to develop organization structure, HR manual, recruitments, compensation, benefits, training, and performance evaluation of employees.
