CORE PURPOSE
To improve the wellbeing, resilience and
independence of people living in Stockport,
to reduce, delay or prevent people from
accessing formal or statutory services

Our Key Workers will provide a single point of
contact, and work with vulnerable people to
explore their strengths, and networks of
support through a guided conversation.
You will help people find their own solutions,
and co-develop personal plans to motivate
people to achieve their goals and improve
their wellbeing and independence.
You will encourage people to give time to build
their confidence, and build social capital in
communities.
You will provide advice, guidance, and
challenge to build resilience, and ensure
people have networks in place to self-manage
and live independently for the future.
