•Appoint a Beacon Head Coach
•Head Coach to act as Mentor to other WM coaches
•Provide Facilities for West Midlands Performance Group
Land Work
Pool Work
•Sports Science Athlete Support – Biomechanics, Physio,
Nutrition
•Increase athlete performance at all meet levels through to
international level
Conditions of Grant
•Work towards self sustaining without grant
•Deliver UKCC Level 1, 2 and 3 courses
•Deliver Team Manager courses
•Run NPTS Learn to Swim Programme
•Increase aquatic participation by 1% per year
•Help in forming LTAD with Swim21 club network in area
•Fulfil Swim 21 criteria at all levels of club
