30th March Association squad training at Penrith alongside Easter Camp for
Yanagi Squad to attend English Nationals and Scottish International. £10 to
train those doing Easter camp free.

GRADINGS
2016
IN 2016 I intend to formalize the grading system
Penrith it will take place on the last Friday of every other month.
So first will be 29th Jan 2015
Next 25th March
27th May
29th July
30th September
25th November
The following grades will grade at the following time
All white belts through to and including orange stripe(current belt)
6pm till finish
All full oranges and above Register at 6.45pm till finish.
In the white to orange stripe grading im going to allow spectators in the hall.
Absolute silence must be adhered to for the benefit of those grading or I will
clear the hall.
Appleby Gradings.
These will take place again every other month. All held on a Saturday morning
at Appleby Sports Hall within the Grounds of Appleby Grammar School.

13th Feb
30th April
18th June
20th August (or summer Camp)
15th October.
Shap and Keswick Clubs will be set in consultation with the lead instructors.
As you can see there is the flexibility in the above dates for Students to grade
at any venue however they must be cleared via myself or one of the 2 nd Dans
and above to grade
To assist and monitor students from Orange belt through to 3rd kyu brown belt
we are introducing a Grading/syllabus card with each students name on which
will contain details of the techniquies kata blocks etc they need to do and
each element will have to have been signed off by a 2nd dan or above before
they grade. It will then be for them to register for the grading at least a week
before one of the dates.
Black Belt grading dates during 2016
These will be held on a Saturday at the play Station next to the North Lakes
School. If no one is grading on the dates set they will be used as Brown belt
and Black belt/instructor days.
