RULES
GAME PLAN:
1. Game is played on a smaller court 48ft x 46ft
2. Tournament will be played with a single elimination tournament with a three game
guarantee
3. Each court will have 2 referees to monitor the game (general basketball rules, with a
few exceptions)
4. Each court will have a score keeper and someone running the score clock
5. Each Game will be 20 minutes long, two ten minute halves with a running clock
a. No free throws (if a player is fouled shooting a basket, the team shooting gets
1 point and the ball)
TEAMS:
1. Teams will consist of 4 on 4 playing with an optional substitute on the sidelines
a. Teams will use a “hockey style” substitution method, free to sub at anytime
2. Pennies will be worn if all players on a team do not have like colors and/or teams
have the same color shirts.
Rules:
1. The Game will start with a jump ball. The centers will face each other while sitting in
sports chair. Ref will throw up the ball and back away to the side lines.
2. Players must dribble the ball once for every two pushes of the chair. Otherwise, this is
traveling.
3. Players must not run directly into another player with the chair. This is a charge and a
foul. We will not be calling these very often as most players will not have the chair
skills, but we want folks to know and avoid poor conduct as much as possible.
4. Games are played with a running clock. When balls go out of bounds, ball will be
thrown back into play by the closest player.
5. Winner is the team who score the most points.
6. Overtime will Sudden Death, first score wins, overtime will start with a jump ball!
