CHALLENGE:
WASTE – Waste disposal is becoming increasingly expensive and challenging. Most waste streams contain
valuable fractions that can be recycled for economic and environmental benefit.
ENERGY – strong dependence on foreign and depleting energy sources is an increasing challenge to
supply security and to the environment.
FOOD – average produce consumed in the US travels
1500 miles from grower to table. Expensive, risky
and polluting.

We convert waste to resources, create green jobs,
increase local food production and improve the
environment.
HOW WE DO IT:
We use our AIKAN dry anaerobic digestion
technology to convert local organic waste fractions
into renewable energy, organic soil improvement
products and local food production.

No need to clean or condition our biogas. Unlike other AD technologies, our
biogas can be run directly into a CHP engine without expensive cleaning.

FOOTPRINT
We process 60,000 tons of organic waste per year in only 8 acres for AD and
composting. Add 3-4 acres for local food production in greenhouse.
