About the Training Guide
The McKesson Practice Choice Training guide is designed to identify the resources available for training
on Practice Choice. Where possible items within each section are arranged in the order that best
practices dictate to consume these items.
In its electronic version, this document provides links to those resources that can be accessed on-line.
Please access the current version of this document on-line periodically as it will continue to be updated
with additional and updated resources.
McKesson Practice Choice Training Videos
The McKesson Practice Choice Training Videos are a series of training modules that provide
demonstrations and walkthroughs of specific features and functionality of the McKesson Practice Choice
system. The videos are arranged in the recommended order for implementation and should be taken in

The Sales Certification Training series is a group of training three modules presented by Chris Wetzel,
VAR Solutions Specialist designed to train a VAR in the McKesson Practice Choice sales process. This
training is a pre-requisite to Sales Certification test.

Practice Choice Exercises Guide Workbook
The McKesson Practice Choice Exercises Guide Workbook provides a series of pre-defined exercises that
guide the user through the most common tasks performed using McKesson Practice Choice. The guide is
segmented into four sections corresponding to the four working areas of McKesson Practice Choice,
Scheduling, Charting, Accounting, and Administration. Each section has a series of exercises that build
on one another. Where workflow is an important factor in the tasks the exercises follow workflow,
otherwise the exercises progress based on complexity of the task.
The McKesson Practice Choice Exercises Guide Workbook is intended for use with the McKesson
Practice Choice Sandbox / Demo Environment. End-user organizations will be provided access and login
information for this site under separate cover. VARs should use the site provided to them as a
demonstration site. For help in completing the tasks review the McKesson Practice Choice Training
videos.
Practice Choice Certification Exam
The McKesson Practice Choice Certification Exam provides an assessment of the key learning points and
functionality of the McKesson Practice Choice product. The exam is updated routinely to reflect the
most recent product release. As a VAR the McKesson Practice Choice Certification Exam is one of the
requirements. You must pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher.
To register for the VAR exam, send a request to take the exam with your name and VAR information to
[email protected] .
End Users may take the end-user version of the certification exam as a guide and reference to their
understanding of the McKesson Practice Choice system. The End User is not required to pass the exam.
