Familiarize the student with the duties and responsibilities of the
oil and gas production technician. Specifically, students will be
able to discuss the history of the oil market, concepts surrounding
exploration and geology, fundamentals of drilling and well
completion, and describe the operation of the equipment and
systems used by the oil and gas production technician today.
