Rules.
1. In your box, please play each person once and enter your result in
the table.
2. All matches to be best of three sets.

3. Scoring System: Winner 4 points.
Loser 1 point, plus one point for any set won. (e.g. if the result is two
sets to one, winner gets 4 points, loser gets 2 points).
4. Bonus: 2 point bonus for playing 4 or more matches in your box. (or
3 matches in boxes 2 and 3)
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT RESULTS WILL BE FORWARDED TO
THE LTA SO THAT THOSE PLAYERS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF
BRITISH TENNIS CAN HAVE THEIR LTA RATINGS
CALCULATED. THIS PROCESS REQUIRES GAMES SCORES TO
BE RECORDED, RATHER THAN JUST THE NUMBER OF SETS
5. As a general guideline you will need to win at least one
match in order to be promoted to the next higher box.
Promotions / Relegations will take place at the end of the period and the boxes will be re-issued
shortly after 31st Jan. Broadly speaking, the top 2 or 3 players in each box go up and the bottom 2 or 3
go down. Variations will occur when players join or leave the boxes.
