Withers update us on work orders for playground hole and exposed tree roots - ​work orders are

Update on schoolwide PE equipment - ​not put out to parents yet - send out around
thanksgiving
Withers concern: ​child left outside from recess, teachers being up on hill - must sit on track area
If on playground, get up and walk around every few minutes
teachers backs to children and on the phone during lunch: discuss rearranging tables in the cafeteria,
look into moving parent table out of cafeteria on to gray carpet, adding teacher table - if teachers
don’t pay more attention, teachers will sit with classes, making sure students are staying in seat
Penny wars: $1900 in just change

We can’t hear announcements in our building - safety concern -​ county is aware, work orders
are in, add whistle or other sound before announcements
Discipline - candy when returning - ​call Withers to handle 3-5 problems
limiting time out of class for extra things ​- student council, book fair,
Lunch menu distribution ​- Withers will mention
No itinerants - bathroom break coverage ​- ask for Withers if needed, Hancock will add PLC
meetings to calendar for planning and will have to go to workshops

Itinerant teachers leaving before 3:15 ​- Tuesday is itinerant PLC, Withers is working on it,
assistants always allowed to leave at 3
Playground equipment replacement ​- purchasing new equipment would be school’s
responsibility, Withers will follow up/ look into
