My name is Mark AtkinsonI am the Medical Director of Bulletproof and the Coaching for
Human Potential Development Course Leader. As an Integrative Functional-Medicine
Physician, Coach, Author and Human Potential Development expert, I have taught tens of

Certified Bulletproof Coach Training
You can extend the duration and depth of your training by choosing to certify as a
Bulletproof Coach. The training includes everything mentioned in the Coaching for Human
Potential Development training, plus a further 8 modules of unique material relating to
the core competencies, coaching practice and how they relate to and build on the unique
Bulletproof Coaching process. You will also gain access to a further 16 teleconferences
dedicated to core coaching competencies and Bulletproof Coaching practice. These calls
also offer in-person opportunities for coaching practice and skills building and are not
mandatory. The total length of this training is 35 weeks.

The Certification Process
To become a Certified Bulletproof Coach and to earn this valuable addition to your
existing coaching qualifications you must have:
 Attended the 2-day workshop.
 Attended all of the live Coaching Skills Teleconferences. If you miss calls, for CEU

 Submitted a log, providing evidence of 48 hours of coaching with a minimum of 8
different coaching clients.

 Received a pass mark for a submitted MP3 recording of a 30-minute coaching session
with a client. This will be reviewed and assessed according to criteria that will be
shared with you during the training. Professional feedback will be shared with you
directly.
 Submitted a statement of competence, whereby you describe how you intend to
incorporate your new skills into your professional work, the competencies that enable
you to do this and areas of work you are now qualified for.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Both trainings - Coaching for Human Potential Development and the Bulletproof Coach
Training program deliver the ideal balance of experiential training and knowledge. Every
skill, tool, technology and process has been selected because of its ability to bring about
effective change. Our approach is pragmatic and based on evidence and experience. We
teach what works. The two-day workshop and first 24 weeks of each training course are
identical.
Two-Day Workshop, Pasadena, Sept 21-22, 2016
This in-person workshop is the most important part of the training. It is here that you will
undergo a personally-transformative experiential process, be introduced to the core
Bulletproof technologies and coaching processes, meet Rod, Dave and myself, and connect
with your fellow students. It’s a pretty intensive process, but the experience will pay off
immediately. I will share with you our complete model of physical, emotional, psychological
and spiritual development. At its heart is discovering how to shift from identification with
the egoic state of consciousness to being centred in what we refer to as Presence. Presence
is the creative, aware intelligence that is always available to us when we come out of our

“head” and into the present moment in a way that is open and allowing. Presence is both
a resource and the wellspring from which inspiration, wisdom and resilience arises.
We know that you are already well-practiced in showing up for your clients with your best
self, focused on all the levels of listening and holding the space for their agenda. We will
demonstrate and teach you how to begin to use Presence in your coaching as a potent way
to facilitate deep insight and transformation in your clients. We’ll show you how using our
methodology can help clients discover “what they really want” and how to uncover their
vocationthe work we/they were born to doand effortlessly create new action steps
towards that outcome. Some parts will be new, some will be already integrated into your

Virtual Training Program
25 weeks: Coaching for Human Potential Development

35 weeks: Certified Bulletproof Coach Training
The Virtual Training Program commences Monday, October 3rd, 2016. Now, we dive
deeper into the core Bulletproof knowledge, skills, tools and practices.
The training material will be released to you on a week-by-week basis on a Monday. The
second and fourth Monday of each month we will have a Coaching Skills Class via Zoom
teleconferencing. During these 90-minute sessions you will be both instructed and also
have the opportunity to practice and consolidate the new skills in small groups, helping you
integrate the information learned into your coaching.
All these sessions are mandatory to earn your certificate and CEU’s. Because we know that
life can be unpredictable and busy, each session will be recorded. You will be able to submit
a brief summary of the missed call and a reflection on your learning from it within the same
week for a maximum of two of the sessions.
Many coach training courses teach their students about the importance of not telling
clients what to do. This is based on the principle that a coach should help clients find their

own solutions and insights. This approach is a wise one. As coaches we can’t always know
what is best for our clients. However, my experience as a coach is that until clients reach a
certain level of mastery over their mind, and attain a level of inner clarity, many of the
messages and insights that arise from the own body and mind cannot be trusted–they are
often inaccurate, distorted and unhelpful. We will unpack this statement in the training.
During the training you will acquire a lot of insightful knowledge that when delivered,
skilfully and appropriately, has the potential to facilitate deep transformation. We will
encourage you to put that knowledge to work immediately.
The focus of this section, Bulletproof Fundamentals, is on developing a sound
understanding of the science-based information, techniques, tools and products to
maximize potential, enhance energy, help your clients perform better and create success.
Included, in this section, is a teaching on how to understand risk and health statistics. Being
able to see through hype, exaggerated importance and statistical deception will stand you
well in making sense of the myriad claims and messages that we are exposed to on a daily
basis. This awareness will serve you well, and help you to accurately communicate the
benefit of a product or approach to your clients.

The Bulletproof Life provides the foundational knowledge, tools and practices for living in
a state of high performance. It includes a recorded three-day workshop in which the
founder of Bulletproof, Dave Asprey, explains in detail the Bulletproof approach to
upgrading your body, mind and life. It’s a fascinating journey into the state of high
performance. Following this we will dive deeper into each component part of the

The Bulletproof Diet
