I am writing to cordially invite you to be a Vendor/Exhibitor at our 10th Annual CACGA “One Team” Conference:
The MDT Response to Child Abuse & Neglect.
This is Georgia’s most comprehensive training conference for the multidisciplinary team members who partner
and respond to allegations of child maltreatment. We expect 300 prosecutors, law enforcement professionals,
medical and mental health providers, child protection caseworkers, legislators, judges, and interested community
members to attend this year’s conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on November 3-4, 2016 at Coastal Georgia
Center, 305 Fahm Street, Savannah, Georgia, 31401.
We are CACGA!
The Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia is the statewide membership organization representing 46 Children’s
Advocacy Centers all across Georgia. We were founded in 1989, and last year our amazing CACs provided more
than 20,000 critical services for children who alleged sexual and severe physical abuse. Every year at our
conference, we attract national experts, including those who practice in Georgia, to present the latest information
to our attendees. This year we have speakers from Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that our Keynote Speaker will be Matthew Sandusky, a survivor of child
sexual abuse and internationally recognized speaker, author, trainer and advocate on child sexual abuse. Matthew
is the Founder and Executive Director of Peaceful Hearts Foundation; He was a victim of child sexual abuse from
the ages of 8 to17 at the hands of his adopted father, Jerry Sandusky. Matthew is working to turn his traumatic
personal experience into a mechanism to prevent childhood sexual abuse and help other survivors heal.
Your participation as an Exhibitor at the conference will allow your organization to network with 300
professionals and community members from across the state and the Southeast. The Vendor/Exhibitor
participation fee is $50. With your support for this premier conference, your organization’s name will be included
in the program and special recognition will be made during the conference. There will be no extra cost to display a
vendor booth at the conference.
