If an RCBO is installed in the fuse board the MCB should receive the power from the Primary side of the RCBO, not power from the secondary side of the RCBO. The excavator must be on site on morning of delivery. The client must indicate the level of the inlet pipe at the hole. If ground conditions are dry, the hole can be dug before our installation personnel arrive. Where the conditions are wet, the hole should only be excavated through the dry material and not below until the installer arrives. The level of rock on the site (if any) should be noted during the percolation test trial hole excavation. The client must have adequately sized rock breaking equipment where required. All excavation is the responsibility of the client. 2. The installer will explain the levels for the bottom of the hole as per Fig. 2 3. The truck arrives and the installer places the tanks in the hole with the truck mounted crane. The installer will assemble the interconnecting pipework and carry out the wiring of the tanks. The excavator may be required for backfilling at this stage. The excavation must be backfilled on the day of installation. 4. The installer will leave the required amount of cable to run back into the house/garage. The control panel will be left with the most senior person on site and this should be kept for the electrician for fixing and wiring. When the lids are on the tanks and the backfilling is complete, the installer is finished. Note : Please have a mobile number for the excavator driver the evening before the installation. Please indicate before the day of installation the level from the top of the finished ground to the invert of the inlet pipe. This is important to allow enough risers to be placed on the tanks. Percolation Area: 1. For the percolation the following items are required. Approx. 50m of normal gauge hydradare pipe Minimum 1 no. 1_” Philmac Tee. Minimum 20 tonnes 20-30mm clean round stone. 2. Check the planning guidelines for the required length of percolation pipe and whether the percolation is sub-surface or a raised bed. 3. The outlet pipe of the Septech ends in a connector for the 1_” pipe. The percolation installer joins onto this pipe but only starts the stone when the percolation area is reached. Do not start the stone at the outlet from the Septech. 4. The percolation trenches should be constructed similar to Fig. 1 & Figure 3. The two inspection pots at the end of the pipe will arrive with the Septech. Notes: The inlet pipe into the Septech must be connected by the builder/owner. Commissioning: Normal use in a house will take 1-2 weeks for the tanks to fill up. When the tanks are nearly full the system is ready to be commissioned. This involves the Service Engineer checking the installation and turning on the power. The Septech warranty commences at the time of commissioning.
