1 Receiving eGPFR Requests and Sending eGPFR Responses GP Factual Report (GPFR) is used by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) in cases where a disability benefit claim is being made. The purpose is to verify with a claimant’s GP that the disability is as claimed. This process can be completed electronically via SCI Gateway, using an electronic GPFR (eGPFR) Request and Response. The Request is sent to the claimant’s GP practice in the form of a letter detailing the information required, and the GP replies using a protocol similar to those used when sending a referral.
