Goals of the Workshop (1)
SHORT TERMS CONTRACTUALS TARGETS
• On September 3rd & 4th 2013, we, as a team, must deliver an
excellent kick-off and an excellent workshop within the Joint Action
• On September 13th, we must deliver a proposal of sustainability
plan
• On September 27th, the sustainability plan must be presented
approved by the Executive Board
• By January 2014, we need to deliver version 1 of deliverable D073
on technical recommendations and version 1 of deliverable D074
on recommendations towards policy making
• By April 2014, we need to deliver version 1 of deliverable D072 on
experts.

FIRST FOCUS (today):
Our assumptions /
- There are various types of experts with different skills
pattern
- We need to create list taking those difference into
account
- We then need to manage several complementary
networks accordingly

SECOND FOCUS (tomorrow):
We shall discuss as far as possible /
- The usage of the JA tools produced by WP4, 5 and 6
- The strategy to be followed to upgrade these tools to match new
unaddressed needs, with the commitment of the network of
experts.
We shall not discuss /
- The structure and maintenance of the web-based portal on EU
health workforce planning.
- The integration of these tools with existing tools, from different
international bodies.

Goals of the Workshop (3)
THIRD FOCUS (tomorrow):
We shall discuss as far as possible /
- implementing planning of HWF in the EU
- including the concept of skills within the planning strategy
- Internal (JA Partners) opinions
We shall not discuss /
- Report on circular mobility in the EU
- implementing the Global Code of the international recruitment of health
professionals
- collaboration between international bodies working on HWF and data
collection
- necessary studies and project to fill in the gaps left over by current work
