1. Which style is your strongest point? My
strongest point is interpersonal because I find it
easier to not have to combine lots of people’s
ideas.
2. Do you think this is an accurate reflection of
your strengths? I don’t think so because I think I
am rated too low in a lot of the subjects so I don’t
think it’s correct.
3. Discuss examples of tasks that you have
performed particularly well in the past and
discuss how you will build on these strengths. I
have performed particularly well in tasks in
English when I have been working alone, which is
how I work best. I can build on this by getting
better at concentrating and remembering things, I
have trouble trying to get an idea but once I have
an idea I am able to write a lot.
4. What, specifically, will you need to do to
improve in the areas that you feel you already do
well in? In maths I’ll need to keep up with all the
work in class and I’ll start learning new things. In
English I need to keep reading books every night
and I’ll develop better reading and writing skills.
5. Also, consider the areas that you struggle in.
What are they? Why do you think you do less well
in these areas? I do less well in Kinaesthetic
because I put more time into all my academic
work like English, Maths and other more standard
subjects. I still like playing sport in fact I really
like playing tennis but I put more work into the
other subjects because I feel they’re more
important.
6. What are some strategies you can think of to
help you improve? I can improve in sport by
playing tennis more often and doing more things
outside.
7. Look at the posters in our room that have words
that describe effective learners. Explain why you
think these may help you become a better learner
and person. The posters show different aspects of
better learners and you are able to look at these
posters and compare them too yourself, It creates
a good goal to work towards.
