1. S.T.H.F. rules will be followed.
A. IMPORTANT DATES
1. Teams must be completely registered by March 20th on the sport form site. Players who are not
registered will no longer be allowed to play due to lack of insurance. There will be no additions to the
sport form site after this date without consultation to the league.
2. Players who are in Grade 8 may join teams if coach deems they are capable. Otherwise players must
be attending a high school and be in Grade 9-12.
3. Coaches must register number of teams and gender by March 1st. Email this to
[email protected]
4. Coaches are responsible to submit their final rosters to the league commissioner prior to March 21st.
Players need to create accounts in order to be added to their club team (final date March 29th, 2017).
B. RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR TEAMS
1. A player may move rosters to a more experienced team, but may not then play with their original team
after the fact.
2. Teams may dress a maximum of 18 players per game
3. Players must have played in a minimum of 2 league games during the season to be eligible for
provincials
C. GAME PLAY
1. The winning team is responsible to report the game results (score sheet) emailed within 24 hours to
[email protected]. Please ensure that you use the players first and last names printed neatly in
order to maintain the accuracy of the stats and standings.
2. A 15 minute warm-up will be allocated for all games. 22 minute halves with one time out per half per
team.
3. Ties will stand during regular league play
4. Host school is responsible to supply:





Nets
Officials
Scorekeepers
Score sheet (ATTACHED)
Game Ball
5. In the event that it is determined that teams have jerseys that are too similar in colour, the home team
is responsible to supply their team with pinnies of an alternate colour.
6. There is no stickem allowed!
7. Coaches need to submit their gym availability by March 1st, 2017.
8. All coaches need to have their respect in sport and concussion protocol. It is the responsibility of the
club to submit these to [email protected] prior to the first league game. Links can be found at

9. Basic season costsa. Membership fee is $30/player
b. Cost for the provincial tournament is $45/playeri. Youth A & Girls May 26, 27, 28
ii. Youth B Boys-June 10th (tentatively)
c. Cost for league referees is $125/team
d. There is additional cost for the Wolverines Tournament-cost TBA
i. Youth A Boys and Girls-April 28-29
