Pam mae’r adolygiad hwn yn cael ei
gynnal?
2011 cynhaliodd yr Athro Syr Mansel Aylward
adolygiad o nifer o Raglenni Gwella Iechyd
cenedlaethol allweddol ar gais y Gweinidog Iechyd a
Gofal Cymdeithasol.
Yn
Un o argymhellion allweddol yr adolygiad hwn oedd y
dylai’r cyllid ar gyfer y rhaglenni hyn barhau am
ddeuddeg mis ychwanegol ond yn y cyfamser y dylid
rhoi mwy o amser i ystyried cyfeiriad rhaglenni gwella
iechyd yng Nghymru yn y dyfodol yn fwy manwl
Adolygiad Cenedlaethol Gwella Iechyd
Why is this review happening?
In 2011 Professor Sir Mansel Aylward undertook a
review of a number of key national Health
Improvement Programmes at the request of the
Minister for Health and Social Care.
One of the key recommendations of this review was
that funding for these programmes should continue for
an additional twelve months but that in the
intervening period further time should be taken to
more fully consider the future directions for health
improvement programmes in Wales.
