Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Rules") apply to the promotion to be conducted by Garmin (Europe) Ltd. during its
KE Adventure competition which will take place from Saturday 30th June until Wednesday 31st August 2012
(the “Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, you agree fully and unconditionally to be bound by these Rules
and the decisions of Garmin. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other
matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of Garmin shall be final and no correspondence or discussion
shall be entered into.

The Promotion Promoter is Garmin (Europe) Ltd of Liberty House, Hounsdown Business Park, Southampton,
Hampshire, SO40 9LR and KE Adventure, 32 Lake Road, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 5DQ.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Promotion. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of
winning. Register your product on My Garmin or send an email to [email protected] indicating
your full name and address.

This Promotion is open to UK residents only. All participants must be 18 years of age or over to be eligible for
this Promotion. Employees and close family of Garmin and of the partner companies involved are not eligible.

Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one Promotion entry by using multiple/different e-mail
addresses, identities, logins, or any other automated methods will void that participant’s entry and result in
his/her disqualification from the Promotion.
6.
By entering the Promotion, the entrant hereby warrants that all information submitted is true, current and
complete. Garmin reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant
has breached any of these Rules. In the event that the randomly chosen Promotion winner is found to
subsequently found to be ineligible for the Promotion per these Rules, Garmin will disqualify the winner and will
randomly select a replacement Promotion winner from all remaining eligible entries.
7.
Any information submitted by the entrant must be personal to and relate specifically to the entrant. The entrant
hereby warrants that the information, which is submitted and/or distributed, will not infringe the intellectual
property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is libellous,
defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening. If relevant, Garmin reserves the right, but not the
obligation, to screen, filter and/or monitor information provided by the entrant and to edit, refuse to distribute or
remove the same.
8.
PRIZE: A full-package holiday from KE Adventure and includes flights from London. (Overseas residents can
either join in London or take the trip land-only). Accommodation will be on a twin-share basis. The approximate
Value of this prize is £1495
9.
Each Prize is nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other
substitution may be made, except by Garmin, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of
equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by Garmin in its sole discretion.
Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with receipt of the Prize.
10. Except where prohibited by law, the winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
Participation in the Promotion constitutes the winner’s consent to Garmin’s use of winners’ name, likeness,
photograph and city of residence for promotional purposes without further payment or consideration
11. The winners will be informed directly by e-mail or phone within 5 business days of the draw taking place. If a
winner of a Prize cannot be located or does not respond within seven (7) business days of contact from Garmin,
the Prize will automatically be forfeited and an alternate potential winner will be drawn from the pool of
remaining valid entries. For a complete list of the winners’ names and cities of residence, please send a
stamped self addressed envelope to Garmin Marketing, Garmin (Europe) Ltd of Liberty House, Hounsdown
Business Park, Southampton, Hampshire, SO40 9LR before October 31, 2011.
12. Potential winners of the prize will be chosen in a random drawing from the pool of valid entries. The random
drawing will be conducted by one or more employees of Garmin or an independent fulfillment entity. Garmin will
act as judge by selecting one winner.

13. Participants agree that any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs
incurred, including costs associated with entering the Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and participant
waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct,
or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of the Promotion, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Garmin in
connection with the Promotion and the terms and conditions of this agreement will be governed and construes
in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
14. Garmin will not pass your personal details to any other organisation without your permission, except for the
other partner companies involved in the prizes or for purpose of awarding your prize if necessary, to which you
expressly agree by entering the Promotion.
15. Garmin is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries or communications or for errors,
omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case
whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software,
communications devices, internet service providers, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction,
unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Garmin is not responsible for
electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any
kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. Garmin reserves the right in
its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of
the Promotions to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive
manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation
of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Garmin reserves the right to seek damages
from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Garmin’s failure to enforce any of these terms shall
not constitute a waiver of that provision.
16. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they are able to accept the prize as set out in accordance with these
terms and conditions. KE Adventure Travel reserves the right to exclude entrants and withhold the prize for
violating any of these terms and conditions.
17. The holiday must be booked by the 15th October 2012.
18. The prize is subject to availability, the date being a guaranteed departure, and the holiday departure must be no
later than 6th April 2013.
19. No cash or other alternative holiday is available and the prize cannot be transferred.
20. The cost of optional activities and travel insurance is not included in the prize
21. The winner agrees that their name may be used in all required publicity material.
22. By entering the competition, participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and
conditions as well as KE Adventure Travels' standard booking conditions.
