These instructions will help you to post files, data and maps to the County ftp
server for others to download. At the bottom of these instructions is sample text
with the required username and password you can use to send to your client for
retrieving data from the ftp site.
Placing Files and Folders on the Planning Commission FTP Site
Copy and paste the URL into the Internet Explorer address bar:
ftp://gisftp.chesco.org/ccpc/
Next, go to View and choose “Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer”
Then right click in the white area and choose “Login As”
A login screen will pop-up where you need to enter username and password for
placing files on the server.
Name and Password are case sensitive:
User name =ccpc_admin
Password = 2A0dCM01nP
Once successfully logged into the FTP site, create a folder where your client will go to access the
data. Right click in the window and click New> Folder. Once the folder is created, double click it to
enter the folder. Now simply use Windows Explorer to drag the contents into the folder; if
uploading GIS data (shp files, feature classes, gdb, etc), use ArcCatalog to drag the files to the
folder.
