“Global Law and Governance Summer School”
24-28 July, 2017 Sounion, Athens
The Global Law and Governance Summer School is not a traditional summer school. It is operated as a researchled teaching Academy by the
he European Public Law Organization (EPLO
(EPLO) and has been developed at the initiative of
Professor
rofessor Ioannis Lianos (UCL) and Dr. George Dimitropoulos (HBKU Law). The program is hosted by the sea next to
the Poseidon temple at Sounion, a suburb of Athens, Greece.
The Global Law and Governance Summer School is:
 an intensive full week summer program (24-28 July)
 taught in English
 every day on a different topic drawing from the hottest Global Law and Governance research agenda
 by a leading faculty from prestigious Universities around the world
 with a completely interdiscipli
interdisciplinary approach to law and policy
 where professors share their most recent research
research, through lectures, seminars and mini-colloquia

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance, provided that they fully attend and actively participate
in classes, as well as complete all assignments
assignments. ECTS Diploma Supplements are available upon request.
Who is eligible for the GLG Summer School?
The GLG Summer School is primarily addressed to graduate students, but also to excellent undergraduate students
from all fields of social sciences such as law, politics, eco
economics,
nomics, sociology, history, philosophy and international
relations, as well as to trainee
ee lawyers, lawyers and officials of international organizations and domestic
administrations who might have no background in interdisciplinar
interdisciplinary studies and seek ways to continue their
education.
