All sailors will learn to sail on a variety of different types of boats including: Optis, Sunfish, and 420’s
(according to their ability). Instructors will assign sailors to boats each day during lessons.
Director of program will place sailors into leveled classes according to his or her skill level and experience.
Mobility between the sessions may become necessary as sailors progress. Age requirements are ages by
December 31, 2017.
+Sailors may use a club boat for their first 2 years only. Sailors must provide their own Sunfish or Opti starting
at their 3rd year in the program.
