klaud components
klaud is divided into functional services that assume different tasks, simplifying and streamlining the system’s
data flow.
klaud real-time acts as a data concentrator. Different importers inject data from various sources (modbus,
OPC, PI, OASyS). All information is grouped in one place.
klaud historical exports real-time values to a native database or Microsoft® SQL Server 2008. For every
designated interval, real-time value is sampled and stored with basic statistics (minimum, maximum,
average, quality) for later queries.
klaud notifications periodically examine certain conditions which are defined in configuration scripts in C#
(NET). If a condition is met, it triggers alarms and warnings that can be distributed via email, depending on
specific time ranges.
klaud reporting services regularly query the historical data, and generate reports and summaries from
templates, which are sent by email to designated recipients.

Founded in 1960 in Kannapolis, NC, Shoe Show, Inc. is the largest independent shoe retailer in the U.S.
with 1,132 locations in 37 states. Shoe Show, Inc. installed a 5.2 MW rooftop solar system at its corporate
headquarters — one of the largest rooftop solar systems installed in the U.S.
Schneider Electric was chosen by SunEnergy1 to supply Schneider Electric GT500 MVX grid-tie solar inverters.
SunEnergy also chose to use klaud for PV plants — a special application based on the klaud framework. klaud
for PV plants can manage multiple — PV plants. It shows their KPI data, represents trend curves, displays
device warnings and alarms, provides detailed information for every component in every plant, and generates
detailed reports and queries easily.
klaud for PV plants provides an easy way to browse plants and devices and measures using a hierarchical tree
based on your configuration and user permissions. klaud for PV plants is secure. A set of user and groups
allows users to administer plants, devices, and point level access. Client-server communications can be
encrypted to protect your data.
