As the new school year begins, we would like to remind you about the importance of your child’s Physical Education. The percentage of overweight youth has more than TRIPLED in the past 25 years partially due to increased interest in sedentary activities such as television, computers, and video games. It is a well documented fact that Americans become 2013 Delete FALL text and place photo here. ALL YEAR Delete text and place photo here. SPRING 2014 increasingly less active as they age. Just as children can learn the habit of physical activity, when given the opportunity to be active, they can also learn to be inactive. This is due children at a young age not taught the proper skills necessary and exposed to what it means to be active.
