- For Open Class Shearers only.
First 4 (four) placegetters will receive prize of cash and/or goods to the value specified, and Sash.
1st - $600, 2nd -$400, 3rd - $350, 4th - $300
2. INTERMEDIATE EVENT
Entry Fee: $25
- Open to any shearer who has not won more than 2 (two) Intermediate Competitions.
First 4 (four) placegetters will receive prize of cash and/or goods to the value specified, and Sash.
1st - $300, 2nd - $200, 3rd - $150, 4th - $100
3. SENIOR EVENT
Entry Fee: $30
- Open to shearers who have not won an Open Event or more than 5(five) Senior Events.
First 4 (four) placegetters will receive prize of cash and/or goods to the value specified, and Sash.
1st - $300, 2nd - $200, 3rd - $150, 4th - $100
4. LOCAL EVENT
Entry Fee: $20
- Open to shearers resident in Boorowa Shire.
First 4 (four) placegetters will receive prize of cash and/or goods to the value specified, and Sash.

5. Highest Quality Points in Local Event - Merryville Award $50 plus Sash
6. LEARNERS EVENT
Entry Fee: $20 (Learners Entry fees will be paid for by AWI)
- Open to shearers WITH LESS THAN 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE.
First 4 (four) placegetters will receive cash prize and Sash
1st - $250, 2nd - $200, 3rd - $150, 4th - $100

Minimum of 6 entries. *Time - Major Fault Disqualified. If less than 6 entries held at discretion of Chief Steward.
The Shearing Competition will be conducted under the rules laid down by the Australian National Shearing Association
(ANSA). All shearers compete at their own risk. All competitors pay at the gate.
2016 Boorowa Show
