Art Night Out® Projects
Our Art Night Out® teachers are experienced artists who provide a relaxed atmosphere, lots of
support, and quality materials/tools to ensure a positive experience. We offer many different projects
that anyone can create, from jewelry to painting to collage and more! Participants leave class with
new skills and an amazing project they created.
We suggest a minimum of 4 people be registered in order to run the class, with a maximum of 8
people (However, we can take up to 10 people if necessary). If you find that you have a strong
interest in a particular class, please let us know and we can discuss adding a second date to
accommodate additional people. It's better to add a second date, rather than have an overlarge class
where attendees lose the small, intimate feeling of a fun and relaxed evening for which Art Night Out
is known.
After you choose the classes you would like to offer, we will send you high resolution photos for use
in your printed catalog and online listings. Please be sure to use the photos we have supplied, as
they accurately reflect the project to be made in class. If any of our photos are not the correct
size for your website, please contact us with the dimensions you need, and we will send a revised
version set to your specifications.
Note: When listing our classes, have the instructor bio worded in the following manner: "Taught by
Certified Art Night Out Instructors" and include the following information--Art Night Out instructors are
experienced artists who provide a relaxed atmosphere, lots of support, and quality materials/tools to
ensure a positive experience. Leave class with new skills and an amazing piece you created yourself.
Please choose from one or more of the following projects listed on the next page. Classes run
two hours and attendees make one or two items, depending on the project. For our Standard classes
suggested class cost is $35-$39 per person, with a $50 teacher fee and $20 materials fee per person
payable to Art Night Out. For our Premium classes, suggested class cost is $59, with a $50 teacher
fee and $40 materials fee per person payable to Art Night Out. After the class has run, we will e-mail
an electronic invoice to your organization. We only charge for the teacher(s) and the number of
people who actually attended the night of the class.

Crochet Wire Jewelry
Learn to use crochet stitches in a new way! Using wire and high quality glass beads
you’ll learn how to construct a necklace or bracelet simply by crocheting. No prior
experience is necessary. Choose from our variety of colorful beads to accent your
stunning jewelry and give it a unique look. Give your piece a finishing touch with a
beautiful gold or silver plated clasp. Workshop fee includes all materials to make one
necklace or bracelet.
Wire-Wrapped Sea Glass Necklace and Key Chain
Learn the secrets to drilling glass, stones and shells. Add colorful beads and spirals
using our easy wire-wrapped loop techniques to create your own unique jewelry. Use our
collection of sea glass, beach stones and shells, or bring your own favorites. Workshop
fee includes all materials to make one pendant and one key chain.
Basic Beaded Earrings
Love gorgeous beaded jewelry, but not sure how to make your own? Let us show you
the basic tools and techniques needed to make attractive earrings in just minutes.
Choose from our large selection of high quality materials; silver ear wires and head pins,
faceted Czech crystal in all colors and sizes, and seed beads in our own color way
mixes. Learn basic wire wrapping techniques as well as advanced techniques such as
working with chain and clusters. Workshop fee includes all materials needed to make two
pairs of earrings.
Wire-Wrapped Sea Glass Earrings
Impress your friends and family with handcrafted items that you've made yourself. This is
a great activity in which to spend a relaxing time with friends. Learn basic wire-wrapping
techniques to make matching wire-wrapped earrings using pre-drilled cultured sea glass
available in a variety of colors. Workshop fee includes all materials needed to make two
pairs of earrings.
Natural Brass Embossed Jewelry
Create interesting embossed jewelry that gets noticed! Using the Vintaj metal texturizing
system, you will impress patterns on pre-patinaed natural brass shapes and reveal
interesting contrast with sanding blocks and sand paper. You will then experiment with
metal patina inks, allowing you to add gorgeous, layered color. Finally, you will combine
your textured metal with chain and beads to create whimsical, modern jewelry. Workshop
fee includes all materials needed to make one embossed pendant with brass chain.
Forged Brass Wine Charms
In this class, you will make a set of 4 forged brass wine charms. It’s a great way to
identify which glass is yours when guests are over. Add high quality colorful glass beads
from our signature bead mixes and metal charms to make your wine charms
unique. Workshop fee includes all materials to make a set of 4 wine glass charms.
Collage Glass Charm
Make your own meaningful mini-collages using paper, text, photos and other ephemera.
Collage techniques include color washing, glazing, and applying pigment powders. After
completing your two-sided collage, you will place it between glass and finish with a
unique, solderless metal frame to achieve a polished look. This technique can be used to
create ornaments or embellishments for jewelry design. NOTE: If using your own
images, ONLY laser copies will work in these collages. Size of charm is 1”x 3”.
Workshop fee includes all materials needed to make one two-sided ornament/charm.
Collage Resin Coaster
Design your own mini collages and turn them into a set of four high quality customized
coasters. Utilize our extensive collection of background papers, small photos and found
text, or bring your own laser-copied ephemera to create a truly personalized set of
coasters. This is a great way to preserve vacation memories, original artwork, or
cherished photos of loved ones. NOTE: Each participant will receive their own 1 oz tube
of resin and four self-adhesive felt pieces to complete their coasters at home. If using
your own images, ONLY laser copies will work in these collages. Coaster size is roughly
3.25” square. Workshop fee includes all materials to make a set of four coasters.
Resin Pendant
Create high quality jewelry using beautiful patterned paper and resin. Begin by designing
a small collage in an attractive silver bezel, adding ice resin over the top of the
decorative papers to create a jewel-like finish. This process is magical – you can even
customize your pendant with small laser copies of your own photos or other memorabilia.
NOTE: If using your own images, ONLY laser copies will work in these collages. Sizes of
pendants vary from 1.5 cm x 4 cm to 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm. Workshop fee includes all
materials needed to make one pendant.
Resin Earrings
Create high quality jewelry using beautiful patterned paper and resin. Begin by designing
a small collage in an attractive silver bezel, adding ice resin over the top of the
decorative papers to create a jewel-like finish. This process is magical – you can even
customize your earrings with small laser copies of your own photos or other memorabilia.
NOTE: If using your own images, ONLY laser copies will work in these collages.

Euro-Leather Bracelet:
Make an ultra-hip Euro Leather bracelet with a huge selection in colors, textures, finishes
and clasps. Learn how to incorporate different color meanings and symbolism into your
bracelet for a personalized piece of stunning jewelry. Workshop fee includes all materials
needed to make one basic bracelet with one charm.
Paint Sunflowers Step-by-Step
Do you have a desire to explore yourself through painting? You will learn step by step
how to utilize expressionist painting techniques to create these sunny yellow sunflowers.
Even if you’ve never tried painting before this is easy to accomplish and provides the
opportunity to express your creativity. Workshop includes all materials to make one 9 x
12 inch painting. (2-hour class)
Paint Clouds Step-by-Step
Whether stormy, or soft and fluffy, clouds are always an interesting subject to paint.
Join us for a relaxing evening out as you learn step-by-step how to show the mood
of clouds. Workshop includes materials to make one 9x12 inch painting. (2-hour
class)
PREMIUM CLASSES ($50 teacher fee, $40 materials fee per person payable to Art Night Out)
Wire Bound Seaglass Necklace and Earrings (PREMIUM)
Twist, wrap, and loop your way to a sophisticated design using elements drawn from the
sea. Using sterling silver wire, pearls and seaglass, you'll create a lovely necklace and
earring set. No drilling necessary. Bring your own seaglass or choose from our collection.
Workshop fee includes all materials to make a pendant and one pair of earrings in
sterling silver.
Stone Charm Bracelet (PREMIUM)
Our custom charm bracelet is perfect for personalizing with stones and beads. Using predrilled stones, you will learn wire-wrapping techniques to add components and
decorative embellishments to this adjustable bracelet (sterling silver over brass).
Workshop includes all materials to make one silver bracelet.
Sterling Silver Forged Earrings and Key Chain (PREMIUM)
Create custom jewelry with pre-drilled stone, seaglass, and sterling silver findings. Make
your own ear wires, clasps and connectors using hammers and steel plates to texturize,
dap (curving metal into a dome with special dies and punches), and punch (no drill
required). Workshop fee includes all materials to make a pair of earrings in sterling and a
key chain.
Resin Pendant and Earrings Set (PREMIUM)
Create high quality jewelry using beautiful patterned paper and resin. Begin by designing
small collages to fit into attractive silver bezels, adding ice resin over the top of the
decorative papers to create a jewel-like finish. You can even customize your bezels with
small laser copies of your own photos or other memorabilia. NOTE: If using your own
images, ONLY laser copies will work in these collages. Workshop fee includes all
materials to make one pendant and a pair of earrings (sterling silver over brass).
Paint Portland Head Light Step-by-Step (PREMIUM)
The Portland Head Light is one of the most photographed lighthouses, with good
reason–it’s such a stunning vista. Even if you’ve never tried painting before, we
show you the steps to paint this iconic landmark. Express your creativity in a fun
and relaxed atmosphere. Workshop includes all materials to make one 11×14 inch
painting. (Note to event coordinator: This is a 2.5 hour class)
