INTERLINKING - REED PREMIER
STANDARD OUTPUT
Interlinking is the process of powering multiple LED fixtures
together with a single power supply unit. The LED interlink process
utilizes independent switching only, therefore each LED fixture
in the interlinked string must be turned on/off individually. When
specifying interlinking, the combined fixture wattage must never
meet or exceed the wattage capacity of the power supply.
8” & 30” interlink cords come standard with each adder fixture.
*Use these charts to determine the acceptable Reed Premier
interlink combinations.

DAISY CHAIN - FLUORESCENT
Daisy Chaining is the process of powering a fixture from the preceding fixture and reducing plug outlet use to one. Most fluorescent daisy
chaining allows for fixture control with either independent switching or master control with a single unit.
»» Independent Switching (DCP) The standard daisy chain configuration. With this option each fixture runs independently of the first fixture in
the line and must be turned on or off individually. Master Control (MCDCP) An optional daisy chain configuration. With this option, the first
unit in the line controls the power of all down line fixtures. Each down line fixture can be switched independently once the power is supplied.
The benefit of using the master control option is that all down line fixtures can be controlled with a single switch (on the fixture with the
power cord). These options are specified as the first fixture in line with either DCP or MCDCP.
»» Jumper Fixtures (DCJ) These fixtures connect the power fixture and end fixture in a daisy chain arrangement. Jumper lengths are specified
using the corresponding order code.

WISTERIA - CONNECT UP TO 10 FIXTURES
»» For the VT the length of the jumper cord is determined by adding the length of each task light (36”) to the distance between the overhead
units (12”), dividing by 2 then adding 6”. Ex.) 36” + 36” + 12” = 84” / 2 = 42” + 6” = 48”. You should then specify the next longest
length of jumper cord available (in this case DCJ54.)
»» DCP or MCDCP is supplied with a 9’ SJT, 16 gauge power cord with a straight plug and mating receptacles.
»» Each fixture in this daisy chain application is supplied with a male and a female business receptacle.
»» The daisy chain option for the VT task light is not available when specifying a Chicago Cord.

TAZETTA - CONNECT UP TO 5 FIXTURES
»» DCP or MCDCP is supplied with a 9’ SJT, 18 gauge power cord with a 90o SW rotation fused plug. Both cords exit from the center of the fixture.
DAISY CHAIN NOTES:
»» This process is heavily regulated but allowed in most cities due to risk of overloading circuits (check your local code).
»» Cord managers are supplied with each daisy chain fixture. Cords are not field exchangeable.
»» End Fixture (DCE) is the last fixture in a daisy chain arrangement. All end fixture cords exit from the center of the fixture. End unit jumper
lengths are specified using the corresponding order code. EX.) DCE45
»» If a power outlet requires a cord to be routed the opposite way of a power cord exit and a cord exit option is not given, the cords may be
crossed in back of the fixture to match the required routing; use the provided cord clips to secure cords in place. See below for visual.

CMAD – Adhesive Horizontal Cord Manager: adhesive cord managers adhere to surfaces
and horizontally manage cords with a clasping cord guide. These come standard with
each Reed Premier and Clique fixture.
CMMM– Magnet Horizontal Cord Manager: magnetic cord managers magnetically mount
to metal to horizontally manage cords with a feeder slot.
CMPC – Panel Clip Cord Manager: panel clips mount by pinching into panel slots to
create a loop to manage cords through.

DESK LIGHT MOUNTING
Freestanding Base allows the fixture to stand in weighted base on top of a flat surface.
Clamp Mount Minimum Clearance allows the fixture to be clamped to the edge of work surfaces.

Fluorescent task lights are warranted for a period of 3 years from date of manufacture, excluding
lamps and ballasts.
Revo, Voyage, & Reed Premier are warranted for a period of 10 years from date of manufacture.
The LED power supply for all LED lighting elements is warranted for a period of 5 years.
Note that LED products are not field serviceable if a defect occurs to an LED product during its
warranty period and upon approval from a Light Corporation representative, the product must be
returned for repair or replacement.

Product returned to Light Corporation in Grand Haven, Michigan, must be accompanied by an
RGA number, which is issued by the Customer Service Department. Any product returned without
such authorization will be returned to sender, unopened, and at the original buyers expense. A
restocking charge of 20% will be applied to returns which Light has not erred in shipping.
