Volunteer – Fixed Point Photography
The Heathlands Reunited Team are seeking keen volunteers who are interested in helping carry
out and learn more about Fixed Point Photography.
As a fixed point photography volunteer you will learn how to take accurate and high quality
landscape images. You will accurately record images with location data and learn how to store
these image files. Each volunteer will be assigned to a site within the project area and paired
with a site manager.
Your research will help build detailed records helping to show landscape changes due to
management carried out within the project. Photos will provide evidence bases for site
managers to use within their own management plans helping aid monitoring and evaluation of
conservation efforts.
Training and equipment will be provided.
Transport: The ability to transport yourself to your designated site (either through public transport or in your
own vehicle) might be an advantage in this role.
Will Require Some Lone Working
Preferred/ Est. Hours: Approx. 3 days every 6
months
