WINTER SEASON IS HERE
FROM THE DIRECTOR
We want to welcome everyone back
from the Christmas break. We hope
that everyone had a great holiday and
look forward to a great new year.
We have a lot of exciting things going
on in the months ahead and we will
keep you informed of all of the
activities. I personally want to thank
all of the parents who helped with the
Christmas games during the parties all
of the children had a great time we
also want to thank everyone that
contributed to the mitten tree we
collected over 100 pairs of mittens.
Just a reminder, with the cold weather upon us
please make sure that your child’s name is
somewhere in their coat so that the teacher can
make sure that each child receives the correct
coat. Also, in regards to snow days, Lakeside
Preschool does not run on any particular county
schedule. Lakeside Preschool will be listed on the
television station closing lists and our website.
We are listed on channels 5, 9, 12 and Fox news.
IMMUNIZATION FORMS
This month we will be having 4 year
old conferences, open house for new
families, registration for the 2014-15
school year and much more.
If you have not sent in an updated
immunization form please do so as soon as
possible.
If at any time you have any questions
or concerns please feel free to let me
know. Your input is very important to
us.
This is required by the State of Kentucky. Also,
if your child goes to the doctor for updated
shots please ask for a new immunization form
to bring into school.

REGISTRATION FOR NEW
FAMILIES
As in the past, we will have an
open house/registration for
new families. It will be
Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 6:007:30. New families may come
and register for the 2014-15
school year, view the school
and meet some of the staff. If
you know anyone interested
please have them contact me.

Conferences for 4 Year Olds
Four year old conferences are the week of January 19.
The schedule is as follows:
January 21 – Ms. Peterson T/H and Ms.Laake M-F
January 22 – Ms. Kane MWF and Ms. Birmingham MWF
January 23 – Ms. Bluford T/Th
January 24 – Ms. Bluford MWF and Ms. Peterson MWF
Sign -up sheets will be outside your child’s classroom the week of
the 6th and the times will be from 9:00-12:00 unless otherwise
noted on the sign-up sheet. Each conference will last approximately
10 minutes. If you have any questions let Cindy know.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2014-15 SCHOOL YEAR
Registration for the 2014-15 school year will begin this month.
Registration forms will go out the week of January 19. Registration
will begin on January 27 for current families and also families that
have attended in the past. If you know of any families who are
alumni and have preschool age children please let me know.
Registration dates are as follows:
Sunday January 26 – all church members with children currently
enrolled and new enrollees.

Monday – January 27 – Families with a child currently enrolled,
including siblings and also alumni.
Additional information will be sent out with the registration forms
as to the times of registrations. Explanations of classes will be
included and also the times and age groups.

laced or any other questions regarding registration please feel free
