A very​ special tree ​at First State Montessori Academy provides a unique opportunity
to have your child’s name forever a part of FSMA. But, our tree isn’t just for children’s
names - you could dedicate a leaf to a loved one who values innovative education, honor
a staff member, add a favorite quote or just show your support of our school… and,
leaves make great gifts!
The tree has been created by one of our parents - skilled craftsmen, Jeremy Beck. The
trunk and branches are made from a Spanish mahogany (not available in the United
States) and the roots are from a walnut tree on a local estate – the tree is as special and
unique as we are!
Each purchased leaf assists the school in fulfilling its mission to bring authentic
Montessori education to children in Kindergarten through 8​th​ grade. Our tree is a
reminder of our “deep roots and new branches” and is a perfect way to not only donate
to our school, but also create a permanent record of your family’s involvement in the
history of FSMA.
There are three leaf colors offered at different price ranges:
Bronze Leaf – $50 – $249
Silver Leaf – $250 – $499
Gold Leaf – $500 – $999
Gold Leaf with Acrylic Backing – $1000
