R-VALUE BAGS PER 1000 SQ.FT. MAXIMUM NET COVERAGE

Stable-R is a unique and patented insulation product which will
help protect you from rapidly rising energy costs and add value
to your home investment. By increasing the fiberglass density and
bonding the fibers together, Stable-R is able to virtually eliminate
any internal convection within the insulation, assuring you
of consistent thermal performance.

Nominal bag weight 30 lbs. For pneumatic application only. Not for exposed applications. Insulation should not be installed over eave vents. Thermal resistance values are
determined in accordance with ASTM C 518. This product meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM C 764 Type 1.
Application of Stable-R requires a 4” discharge insulation blower. Set the air pressure and transmission
(if applicable) as you would for blowing any attic loose-fill fiberglass insulation. The machine metering gate
must now be set so one (1) bag of Stable-R is used every 90 seconds.
For horizontal attic application only. Not for side walls or vaulted ceilings with no more that 8:12 pitch.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
· A commercial pneumatic loose-fill insulating machine with a 4” discharge that is designed to blow fiberglass insulation.
· Diaphragm type water pump with discharge hose.
· 150’ of 4” insulation blow hose.
· Hydro Cone Jet injection assembly.
INITIAL MACHINE SETTING FOR INSULATION
1. Set water pump pressure to approximately 100 psi.
2. Hydro Cone Jet should discharge 46 ounces (approximately 3 pints) of water every 90 seconds. Do a BUCKET CHECK before starting
each job to ensure the proper amount.
3. Use all available machine blower air to move product. “NO Bleed Off” (set gate opening to approximately 75% of maximum
open setting).
4. Install at a rate of one (1) bag every 90 seconds.
5. Use 150’ of 4” insulation blow hose only.
6. Install Hydro Cone Jet injection assembly in the hose within 10’ of machine discharge.
Caution: Any deviation from the manufacturer’s application specifications outlined above can adversely affect the insulation and performance of this product.
Guardian Fiberglass – for your health.
Indoor air quality is a growing concern with today’s
tighter construction practices for homes and
buildings. And most people spend about 90% of
their time indoors where, according to the U.S. EPA,
“thousands of chemicals and biological pollutants
are found”, thus negatively affecting our health.
That is why Guardian Fiberglass has made a point to achieve the highest possible product
certification – Greenguard Certification. Greenguard Certified Products can significantly reduce
the existence of hazardous emissions and promote a healthy home environment. Guardian
building insulations are tested and certified to meet the tough Greenguard™ IAQ standards. Not
all Guardian products are Greenguard certified. See applicable product specifications for details.
Guardian Fiberglass Insulation is part of ENERGY
STAR® home sealing. When installed correctly,
Guardian Fiberglass Insulation helps ensure that a
home stays comfortable and energy efficient during
periods of extreme temperatures.
