Süreç
1. Giriş
Bu ders kapsamında öğrencilere sözcük türlerinin daha farklı öğelerinin de olduğunu ve bu ders süresince bu öğelerin
öğrenileceği söylenir. Bir önceki kurda öğrenilen sözcük türleri bu kurda öğrencilere aşağıdaki ön düzenleyici görsel
tahtaya yansıtılır ve bunun yardımıyla hatırlamaları sağlanır. Öğrencilerden daha önceki bilgilerini gözden geçirerek
tahtaya yansıtılan görseldeki sözcük türlerine birer örnek vermeleri istenir. Öğretmenin bu aşamadaki amacı
öğrencilere önceki konuları hatırlatmak ve yeni öğrenilecek konular arasında öğrencilerin ilişki kurmasını sağlamaktır.

Sınıf ortamına getirilen İngilizce alt yazılı “Mask” filmi yardımı ile çocukların tüm sözcük türlerini daha detaylı
ifade edebilmeleri ve gerçek yaşamla ilişkilendirmeleri sağlanarak anlamlandırma stratejisi işe koşulur.
Öğretmen sözcük türlerini tahtada örnekler vererek özet şeklinde anlatır. Ardından öğrencilerin etkin
katılımını sağlamak amacıyla gerekli yerlerde film durdurularak soru cevap veya tartışma tekniklerinden
faydalanılır.
