ACTOne Play Festival: Call for Submissions
Whether you’ve got a one-act play in the first draft stage or have been working on your
masterpiece for years, JM Drama’s ACTOne Festival is an opportunity for you to have
your play workshopped and produced at the region’s most hopping and happening
space, The Registry Theatre!
The ACTOne Play Festival, set to take place at The Registry Theatre from June 4-6,
2015, is an opportunity for emerging playwrights to have their work developed,
workshopped, and produced. A total of 3 submissions will be selected by a Jury; by
submitting your play, you are agreeing to participate in a workshop process to develop
the script and prepare it for a community theatre production.
Plays should be at least at the first draft stage, though by no means need to be polished
as festival dramaturge Gary Kirkham will work with the selected playwrights to revise
and develop their scripts in the months leading up to the Festival.

submissions are encouraged; please include your name and contact info with your
submission.
Deadline for submissions is November 14, 2014. For more info, or if you have any
