Week 4, Term 4 Principal Note Welcome to week 4! Last week, I was fortunate to spend three days working with Assistant Regional Director’s, cluster colleagues and with other hard-working dedicated Principals from the region. The meetings throughout the week allowed Principals to examine new structures and policies that will be implemented in the region from 2015, which will provide more autonomy and accountability at a school level (including staffing allocations and decisions). This week, Principals also examined new pedagogy and curriculum models. The end of the school year is not far away – only 5 school weeks left! Everyone at Windorah SS are still busy completing work for the year and preparing for next year. This Friday we celebrate the great work and commitment of our teachers on World Teachers’ Day. We will be holding an afternoon tea at 2:15pm (followed by a sport activity) and hope that you will join us in thanking our teachers for the work they do.
