Universal Lighting Technologies, an industry leader in high efficiency
ballasts and other lighting control equipment, offers a full line of wallswitch and ceiling sensors plus power packs. Sensors can provide
substantial energy savings by turning lights on when needed and
off when not needed. These products leverage our extensive control
experience to set the new industry standard. CENTO™ products are
Title 24 and ASHRAE compliant.
CENTO™ sensors can be specified for energy saving control
strategies in spaces having intermittent lighting requirements including
office, commercial and industrial applications. When combined with
other controllable lighting measures, these sensors can enhance
savings provided by an already efficient system.
Functional options are diverse, from basic to feature-rich. Voltage
options include line-voltage (120/277VAC & 347VAC) and low-voltage
(24VAC pulse). Power Packs contain a power supply to convert line
voltage to low voltage, and are designed to work seamlessly with
our CENTO™ low voltage sensor line.
PIR technology breaks the “field of view” into narrow segments.
When a heat producing body enters a segment, or passes from
one segment and into another, occupancy is detected. Lenses
and detectors are carefully matched to optimize recognition of
human presence and motion within the target coverage area.

• Self-adapting technology (user configurable)
tracks occupancy patterns and adjusts the turnoff delay to achieve optimal energy savings.
• Switch mount sensors provide 180º coverage
and include a hardened lens to resist damage
from vandalism.
• Ceiling mount sensors provide 360º coverage
and have an adjustable lens for fine tuning the
covered area.
• Vacancy Sensors (permanently configured
for manual-ON /auto-OFF) ensure additional
savings, and are mandated by some energy
codes.
• Photocells on some models eliminate “ON”
when ambient light is plentiful
