2013 TEST INFORMATION
Date: Tuesday 5th February, 2013 at 5.30 pm
Location: Brewery Lecture Theatre, Brewery Building, SMB Campus
Lydiard St Sth, Ballarat
Cost: $50
Test Rules and Conditions:
 Registration form and payment must be made before the test date at the Student
Enrolment Centre
 No dictionary allowed
 No calculators allowed
 Mobile phones to be turned off during the test
 You must remain seated when you have completed Part A and Part B of the test until
the allocated time has been completed.
 You may leave when you have completed Part C.
There are 3 parts to the test:
Part A: Literacy and Comprehension Test: ( 20 multiple-choice questions and short
answer response to articles)
For the multiple choice section do not write on test question sheet, only write in the multiple
choice answer sheet, write your name on the answer sheet
Duration : allow 10 minutes for this section: 10 marks allocated
For the short answer section write in the allocated spaces, if you require more space use the
additional lined paper provided.
Duration: allow 30 minutes for this section: 25 marks allocated.
Part B: Numeracy Test
(30 multiple-choice questions) : 30 marks allocated
Do not write on test question sheet, only write in the multiple choice answer sheet, write your
name on the answer sheet
Duration: 30 minutes
Part C: General Writing Test : extended response
Duration: 30 minutes : 35 marks allocated
