Inbound Shipping to a Show Thank you for shipping with Exhibit Freight Solutions! We are happy to provide these basic instructions and tips for your inbound shipping. PREPARING YOUR SHIPMENT: We will email a PDF version of your inbound BOL to you. Print two (2) copies of the inbound BOL. Review for accuracy. o Driver takes one o Driver leaves a signed copy with you Carefully pack your booth materials o All crates should be securely sealed o Pallets/skids securely shrink wrapped and/or banded as appropriate o Boxes should be sturdy and rated for the weight of the contents o Use appropriate packaging material, bubble or foam wrap, etc. o Keep a packing manifest of contents of each piece in your shipment o Ensure shipment contents are insured o Include a thick black permanent marker in your shipment to use for empty labels or other show site marking requirements Labels o Remove or obliterate old shipping labels and bar codes o Check your exhibitor kit for show labels. They are helpful. o Ensure each item has labels securely attached o Each individual piece on a wrapped/banded skid should have a label o Review label accuracy; Advance Warehouse vs Show Site address o Booth number and company name should be clearly visible o The show name should be included Keep a photo of your freight for reference Your freight will be weighed by the carrier On delivery shipping fees will be charged to your credit card in your EFS account ADVANCE WAREHOUSE ADVANTAGES: Transit delays can be expensive to deal with on show site deliveries Eliminates the challenges of weekend or off-hours move in Advance warehouse freight gets to your booth before you do ON SITE: Visit the service desk for EMPTY labels.
