PICK UP THE BALL AND
THROW IT. EASY RIGHT?
Now build a robot that’s capable of doing the same thing.
Sophomore Noah Ruh did it. He engineered and built the robot with guidance from his teacher, Mr. Ostermann.
Because of our students’ busy schedules, Mr. Ostermann takes the time to come in on weekends to help Noah and
others with their robotic projects. It’s all part of the personalized curriculum offered at EL-G. Teachers will make
themselves available during non-school hours for individualized help with everything from math to writing to
computer programming. These unique opportunities are offered to challenge students to become their best.
Additionally, our distance learning labs and on-line offerings make our class options almost unlimited.
When he’s not busy building robots, attending classes or playing basketball on the high school team, Noah has
the ability to join and experience any of the dozens of clubs available at EL-G. Noah feels all students should
join at least one club and/or sport. EL-G provides individualized attention and a supportive environment
where teachers, advisors and coaches encourage students to try new activities.
If you want to find out more about how we can personalize
education for every student at EL-G, please contact either
principal, Debbie Hammann or Jim Brown, to answer
questions, schedule a personalized tour, or even to sit in
on a class or two.
