GO Peat-Free supply List.indd

So where can I buy peat-free?
It is hard for gardeners to find peat-free products. Whether it’s growing media or
plants, peat-free items are not widely available at your average garden centre. This
shouldn’t be the case, and the more we show demand for peat-free products, the
sooner we’ll get them.
Garden Organic would like to develop a guide to what products are available and where you can go to get them. We’ve
made a start on a list, but we are urging manufacturers of peat-free growing media and nurseries specialising in peat-free
plants to get in touch to help us develop it further. Alternatively, if you are a peat-free garden centre or nursery, then
please get in touch by emailing [email protected]
You can also use the template letter download to demand a better choice of peat-free products at your local garden
centre, supermarket or DIY retailer.
