Operation
This has required developments ranging from a climate control unit
for high and fluctuating ambient temperatures to safety switches
that safeguard the device from damage in the event of an interruption
to the voltage or purge air supplies.
Analyzers:
Our aim is to provide the ideal solution for any application and to
allow every user to make use of tried and trusted measurement
technology. We therefore support the option of integrating all
analyzers available on the market and of combining these to achieve
a complete customized system.
Gas Feed:
Precise gas flow within the device plays a central role in the
detection of components that are hard to measure. This
system is based on an optimized design, providing for the shortest
possible gas flows as well as precise pressure levels and temperature
conditioning. Users have the option of disconnecting analyzers
individually from the gas flow without affecting the system
dynamics, or to make measurements only using the FTIR with
a short sampling line via a separate sample gas inlet. The use
of a heated sample gas pump renders the system insensitive,
within a wide range, to varying pressures at the sampling point.

of options offered by FTIR technology with the reliability of standard
measurement technology.
The outstanding features of the IAG versa06 plus include ease
of use, large dynamic measurement range, precise gas feed,
maintenance friendliness and the flexibility offered by the IAG
module system.
Calibration:
Dependable use of FTIR technology also means specific considerations
as to how a measurement device is designed. As with any
measurement device that needs to be used flexibly and if necessary,
10
Communication:
The options for communicating with the test cell environment
range from AK serial, TCP or remote desktop connection to straightforward bit parallel control. The measurement reading can be
outputted via the relevant interface, or via fully customisable
analogue outputs where storage of measurement readings can be
started or triggered independently by the measurement process.
Adaptation to meet customers’ needs and providing custom
solutions is the norm for us.
Operation:
The system is operated either directly using the 17” TFT touch
screen or via remote desktop. The user interface of the IAG versa06
plus is structured clearly and flexibly and offers all the features users
have come to expect from advanced control interfaces.
Sampling:
The IAG versa06 plus can of course be combined with any IAG
sampling module. The options here extend from a simple heated
line, serving as a suction feed for the measurement device, to
extensive multiple extraction systems with pressure regulators,
switching units and high temperature extraction lines. All sampling
modules are remotely controlled from the measurement device
itself and are also displayed in the device display panel. This means
that every parameter such as temperature and switching status for
the entire system can be configured and operated from a central
location.

Technical Data
The IAG NMS measuring system is a 191 °C heated
extractive diode laser ammonia detection system.
This very compact and light system can be used in a wide variety
of applications.
Two sample gas inlets, two analogue output instrument, a built-in gas
inlet pressure regulator, a heated sample gas filter, an integrated purge
function, a span gas connection and any kind of communication
option you might eventually like are basic technical features.
Operation:
Setup and operation are kept as simple as possible without sparing
an operation software with all functions the advanced user would
expect, including alarm parameterisation, calibration as well as open
communication settings.
The operation takes place via touchscreen directly at the device or
via communication interfaces such as AK, RS232, Modbus or Profibus.
Reponse Time:
Analyzing components like NH3, which are very difficult to detect,
require measuring systems that provide optimal response times.
IAG has been developing heated pre-filters since 1998 and has
worked ever since to create sampling modules and measuring
systems with minimum internal volume, optimized gas flow,
uniform heating and special surface treatment. Therefore, this
system has the ability of realizing very short response times.

The VFS family with 1 until 24 sample gas inlets are the
allrounders in pre-filter system.
The VFS is an extremely compact, autonomous multi sample filter
for flexible construction of a wide range of test set-ups. Connection
to the VFS is simplified by a control unit that is integrated into the
device and carries out all internal control and regulation tasks as
well as communication with the test cell environment. For this
reason the VFS is ideal as a replacement for older, maintenanceheavy pre-filter modules. Thanks to its versatility, it can be added to
the test cell with limited modification work. - An investment that
quickly pays for itself. The VFS has extremely uniform heating and
an optimized gas feed that guarantees the greatest precision with
measurement results.
The VFS is fitted with an NC pressure regulator for max. 50 mbar
outlet pressure with an inlet pressure of up to 6 bar. Furthermore
the device has a backflushable filter chamber with an inbuilt purge
air outlet plus a test gas inlet. All inbound sample gas lines can be
separately backwashed.

Parameterisation is very simple to carry out via an SCP (system
control panel). The SCP autonomously recognizes which device it
is connected to and enables every device parameter to be set via
an extremely clear, self-explanatory display on a 5.7” touch screen.
The SCP is also available as a simple software tool. This means that
the VFS can be connected directly to an internal network and
controlled or configured from any PC. Control can optionally be bit
parallel or via Modbus TCP.
If an VFS is connected to an IAG measuring unit, configuration and

The IAG FLS is the ideal additional device to your FTIR to
turn it into a complete, simple and safe working measuring
build-up.
The IAG FLS were designed as additional devices for the simple
and safe operation of FTIR analyzers. They provide a fully
heated, filtered and adjustable sample gas flow through the
analyzer, provided by a reliable heated sample gas pump. Setup is very simple and can be carried out in just a few minutes.
Gas Feed
It only needs the connection of two heated lines, one to the
FTIR and one to the sampling point, network connection,
power and purge gas connections. Operation can be done on
the device via pushbuttons, or via the provided software which
also shows all important FTIR and FLS parameters such as
sample flow, gas cell pressure and system temperatures.
Before and after measuring the device automatically starts
purging the analyzer with nitrogen which will help to avoid
costly mishaps such as corrosive probes condensing inside
the gas cell. To achieve optimum measuring accuracy all gas
contacted surfaces are stainless steel or PTFE with a uniform
heating and minimised internal volume.

HSV
UREA DISTRIBUTION Analyzing System
Automatic calculation of the dot matrix:
NOx uniform distribution:
Application:
The HSV can be connected to round exhaust systems with a
diameter of 8 to 14“. The connection is made with a welded flange
plate. The sampling system can be positioned and fastened on the
flange through a mobile, height and inclination adjustable carrier
trolley. The connection point centre height can be electronically
adjusted from 500 to 1000 mm. The positioning unit can be pivoted
in the range +/-30° around the vertical in order to enable a coupling
to the welding flange in this angular range.
Implementation:
The pipe probe is positioned in the exhaust system via coupled
linear drives, which run into pre-parameterized positions in the
exhaust system. The probe pipe is heated to 191 °C and has a 6 mm
Swagelok connection for a heated analytical line (for analysis) on the
output side. In addition, it has a pressure connection for dynamic
pressure measurement to determine the flow velocity as well as a
thermocouple for temperature measurement at the sampling point.

8 Control Circuits
+ Max. 4 x 3 A + 4 x 15 A
Options
The TRE08 is a high-performance temperature ontroller
for supplying long heated hoses for extensive multiple
samples or even precise monitoring of multiple control
circuits.
The TRE08 is far more than just a temperature controller. This is partly
because of its enormous performance capability – up to 63A total
power consumption on 8 control circuits – and partly because of its
versatility in terms of control tasks and communications options. The
8 PID control circuit can safely and precisely manage heated lines,
heated/cooled lines, heated sample gas pumps or whatever else
is required. Even special tasks such as fast adjustments, parameter
switching etc can be carried out using the TRE08.
Like all IAG modules, the TRE08 can also be controlled and configured
in a wide variety of ways. If active control is needed (such as for
controlling an HKL), this can be done either via bit parallel or via
Modbus TCP. Depending on the configuration, the TRE08 has up to 8
freely programmable digital outputs that can be used for controlling
an MSJ junction unit, for example.

Understanding your needs
Our customers know what they want. Our challenge starts where conventional exhaust gas measurement reaches its limits - high
temperatures, high pressures, long gas lines, difficult sampling points, short response times and free choice of analyzers. Our customers‘
individual requirements drive us to create new unique products we are truly proud of.
