can’t produce livestock

you might be missing out on a golden
opportunity to make livestock production simpler, more efficient and more
profitable all at once. Editors found
these products at fall farm shows.
New chute won’t
squeeze budget

chute designed especially for smaller
beef operations. “The Standard” has a
versatile manual head gate with multiple
lock positions, a re-enforced steel floor,
a single side squeeze panel and a locking drop gate. Manufacturer’s suggested
retail price is $2,200. Call Applegate,

Grinder-mixer
gets redesigned
A
RT’S Way redesigned one of its most
popular self-standing grinder-mixers,
the 5165, to create the all-new 6520.
The new design eliminates bevel gears
from the auger system and replaces them
with a hydraulic motor. The auger discharge tube
is 2 inches larger now, at 10 inches, for faster
feed unloading. Double knives in the mill give a
more consistent feed grind with lower horsepower
requirements. The grinder-mixer comes with a
wireless remote control. No pricing is available yet.
