Press Release
Cofely Services becomes ENGIE Services
March 30, 2016
The world is changing and with it, all our energy!
Starting on April 4, 2016, Cofely Services Inc. becomes ENGIE Services Inc. This name change follows
the decision by ENGIE Group (formerly GDF SUEZ) to consolidate its companies around the world under
a single brand. ENGIE is a simple, universal name that evokes energy for all, in every culture.
The energy world is undergoing sweeping changes that present opportunities as well as challenges to be
overcome: developing renewable, carbon-free energy, reducing energy use, the digital revolution, and
many others. In more than 70 countries on five continents, ENGIE provides businesses and communities
with effective, innovative solutions in the energy sector that meet the challenges of the future.
As Cofely Services becomes ENGIE Services, the company seeks to play a major role in the energy
transition in North America by offering all its clients a broader range of solutions, from procurement to
facility management (FM) as well as energy performance commitments.
“While our company’s name is changing, client service will remain our organization’s core value,” says
Francois Dépelteau, Cofely Services President & CEO. “We will definitely continue to give our clients the
same attention and service quality as before. But our aim is to serve them even more comprehensively
through additional solutions as ENGIE Services.” The Energy Services businesses of ENGIE in North
America consist of 2,400 employees ready to devote all their energy to helping you save yours!
