A few examples of different lighting scenarios:
Ambient light: use whatever light is already there.
Available light: use whatever light you can find
(flashlight, studio light, lamp, flash etc.)
• Natural lighting – Outside, Or through a
window. Use what you have.
• Diffused lighting – Light shines through
something to soften the intensity.
• Indirect lighting – Light the subject without
shining the light directly at them.
This also softens the intesity.
