Establishing Shot - shows that the storyboard
sequence is set in a school.
Medium Shot – used to show that the girl is alone;
on her phone.
Wide Shot – is used here to show someone
approaching her.
Medium 2 Shot – establishes that the two girls meet;
discussing something.
2 Shot – shows that the two girls are getting more
into the conversation; shows half of one and full of
the other girls’ expression.
Close up Shot – establishes that the one girl who
walked over is frustrated over the things the other
girl is denying.
High Angle Shot – in this shot, it shows that the
argument is dominated by the girl who approached
the other and doesn’t think much of if the other girl
actually did what she’s accusing her of.
Medium 2 Shot – a second medium two shot shows
both of the girls’ further reactions to what is being
said.
Low Angle Shot – using a low angle shot here
shows that she is being threatening and is superior in
the argument.
Medium 2 Shot – having a medium two shot here
clearly shows a clearer understanding of both
reactions to the argument.
Wide Shot – this wide shot is used here to show
how girl being accused is walking away from the
argument; it shows both girls walking out of the
area whilst one is still trying to accuse the other.
Extreme Close Up – the extreme close up here was
used to show that the girl being accused had enough;
it looked like she finally got rid of the other girl. It is
effective as it doesn’t show the area directly in front
or directly behind her.
Close Up Shot – this particular close up shot in the
storyboard is a quick change from the previous
extreme close up as it shows how she didn’t get rid of
the other girl and that she caught up with her. It
doesn’t show either girls particular reaction to this, so
is effective in that sense as well.
Over The Shoulder High Angle 3 Shot – we used
an over the shoulder high angle 3 shot here to show
that a third girl has intervened and it is from her
perspective; both girls realise at the same time that
they’ve been seen and the argument should stop.
Wide 3 Shot – the wide 3 shot was used here to show
the two girls in the argument trying to explain
themselves to the third girl with all of their reactions
seen clearly in the frame.
