The course aims to equip the students with the basic principles and applications about
Human Resources Information Systems for improving their skills related with the human
affairs and computer applications.

Course Description: Basic Concepts of Management Information Systems, Information Systems and It’s
Design, Data Record and Security Systems, Notion of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Aims of
HRIS, Establishment of HRIS, Necessary Information Types for HRIS, HRIS’s Usage on HR Functions,
Electronic Human Resources Notion, Advantages and Restrictions of HRIS are the main topics that will be
covered.
Recommended optional program components: Human Resources Information Systems is a fundamental
course for HR applications.
Work Placement: Course doesn’t consist of any compulsory or optional work placement but visits to firms
help to to see and evaluate the applications in the field.
