BV Tigerette Booster Club: 2016/2017
The BV Tigerette Booster Club exists for the sole purpose of supporting and promoting the BVHS
Tigerette Dance Team and the program.

Approve Minutes of Last Meeting:
We will approve these in April after the notes have been sent out.
Thank you:
Shearon - for all your work on uniforms for next year (ordered 15 white, gold and black dresses; 15
halter tops; 15 high waisted cheer skirts) - ordered now just to start out for next year since there
currently was a significant discount
Treasurer's Report:
$908.29 balance
a. Taxes - Liz presented 3 ways our organization could be considered for tax reporting purposes. We all
agreed on 501(c)3 as a public charity. Liz will report to the Secretary of State after obtaining the
required documentation.
b. $40/dancer as a Booster Fee was suggested, but the discussion will be continued. We will also be
considering an initial line item for additional donations. c. $500 to spend for Spring show dance
costumes, plus what we have from previous years.
Committees:
Communication - Send email blurb, link, and attachment to Jamie Euston a week before you want the
info to run. Need all three to get information out.
Dine to Donate:
Raising Cane, March 28, 2017, last one for this year
We are considering only doing Sonic dine-to-donate for next year, and maybe Sunset Grill since many
dancers work there.
Social:
Give Seven Days walk (Monday when school is off April 24th) – Look for email with sign up
(givesevendays.org/walk/) and please feel free to sign up for any of the events that fit in your daughter's
schedule. Please wear BV dance team spirit wear & take some photos!
Spirit:
*The idea was suggested that the returning dancers will place posters in the yards of the 2017-2018 new
dancers. They will meet at a selected place to get signs & distribute. Jenn will call he district to ask if
they have metal stake signs & vinyl cling & sizes, etc.
*Also discussed having a Spirit Packet at first meeting (tank top, etc.). The tank has been designed
through Sportswear Etc. Girls will be sized on the first night. Spirit bag could include shirt, starburst, and
maybe decal.
*We are also considering each dancer find a $250 sponsorship for next year's poster.
Spring Show:
PLEASE post your photos on the group photo share sight! $28 Intouch photo fee will be spent so the
photos can be used.
End of the Year Banquet:
RSVP to the Evite & pay via PayPal or check asap. The banquet will include a taco bar, cake, & Jenn will
continue trying to find a long table for all the girls to be able to sit together.
Next Year – Start thinking about next year booster club positions. Reminder that the Pre-Audition
meeting is for the dancer and a parent is on April 11th.
Coaches Report:
*Halter tops have been ordered
*Contemplating a date for car wash for Fall (& this may be required next year). Decided to not do a
spring car wash. Thinking about Sunday, August 27th or September 10th. Jamie will check with Price
Chopper & cheer on availability and/or any potential conflicts.
*Tanks for Spring Show will be paid by students. Someone want to take on orders?
*Jenn has been working on the new website (Weebly $20/year) - talked about including sponsor
recognition in this site for next year - Jenn will have the website basics done by auditions.
*Plan to transfer costumes to the basement & get garment bags for them (digital catalogue of all
costumes to possibly share with other BV schools)
