Documentation 1.1 This Guide The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the planned Group Ticker Plant Customer Dress Rehearsal, due to take place on 30 January 2016. 1.2 Readership This document is particularly relevant to technical and business teams within member firms, information vendors and other market participants who are currently developing to Phase 2 Group Ticker Plant services and those customers currently subscribed to Phase 1 Group Ticker Plant services. 1.3 Document Series This guide should be read in conjunction with the wider series of Group Ticker Plant documentation. Overview The Group Ticker Plant Dress Rehearsal will take place on the 30 January 2016. It will provide customers the first opportunity to interact with the Group Ticker Plant Phase 2 Production architecture. Offered to facilitate customer testing, ensure correct network addressing and performance-tune applications, the Customer Dress Rehearsal is expected to be the final stage of readiness prior to go-live. LSEG will announce details of our go-live schedule following the Customer Dress Rehearsal. 3. Customer Participation For customers subscribing to the new Phase 2 full-depth incremental services from go-live, the Customer Dress Rehearsal is considered mandatory and customers should plan to attend. Furthermore, for customers affected by the CDDI suspension (i.e. those customers currently subscribed to Borsa Italiana cash equity market data feeds from the Londonbased estate who have to migrate to the Milan-based estate, and those customers currently subscribed to London Stock Exchange cash equity market data feeds from the Milan-based estate who have to migrate to the London-based estate), should consider this Customer Dress Rehearsal mandatory; those customers affected by the temporary suspension of CDDI have already been contacted. All other customers can optionally participate in the Customer Dress Rehearsal. 3.1 Preparing for the Customer Dress Rehearsal Customers with proprietary software should ensure they have completed their Certification test ahead of the Customer Dress Rehearsal; only customer applications considered as certified are permitted access to Production environments. Customers interacting with Production environments using an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) should ensure they have received and deployed a compatible version ahead of weekend testing. Customers should also ensure they register their intended attendance at the Customer Dress Rehearsal – further details are provided in Section 5.1 – Registration. 3.2 Success Criteria Those customers deemed mandatory as per Section 3 – Customer Participation of this document, are required to confirm receipt of real-time data for each Production service line to which they subscribe. Customers should also test CompID connectivity to each Replay and/or Recovery service for which they are enabled. Customers should confirm successful completion of the Customer Dress Rehearsal to their Technical Account Manager via email. 30 January 2016 – Dress Rehearsal Guide Issue 1.0 3.3 Page 6 Following the Customer Dress Rehearsal Following the Customer Dress Rehearsal, it is the customer’s responsibility to restore applications to the current Production version in readiness for trading on Monday morning. 4. Schedule LSEG will make real-time market data available by both Group Ticker Plant platforms and legacy MITCH and HSVF market data services. All trading services supported by Group Ticker Plant (London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana, IDEM and EuroTLX) will be available for customers’ order entry. Customers are kindly encouraged to enter orders to generate volume throughout the day. The trading date will be set to Saturday 30 January 2016. Reference data uploaded to support customer testing will be dated Friday 29 January 2016 and will be made available via the standard Group reference data platforms. It is prudent to note that no orders or trades will be carried forward from Friday 29 January trading session and markets will start from a blank position on the Customer Dress Rehearsal. Following testing, order books will be restored to Friday 29 January closing position in readiness for Monday 1 February. No trades executed as part of testing will be transmitted to Clearing and Settlement. The below schedule is expected to be followed. Should timings be amended on the day, this will be clearly communicated via the Weekend Activity Monitor. Further details are provided in Section 5 of this document. The Group’s internal teams will inject load to a subset of instruments to simulate periods of high service throughput. Customer Support 5.1 Registration Customers are required to register their participation ahead of the Customer Dress Rehearsal. Customers should notify their Technical Account Manager by midday Wednesday 27 January 2016 should they wish to participate. Customers should also ensure they provide contact details for their testing and have completed a Production Customer Request Form (CRF) to include details of their required service lines and logons. 5.2 Weekend Activity Monitor (WAM) Customers will be kept informed of progress throughout the day via the Weekend Activity Monitor (WAM).
