Qualification, Experience and Job Description for the post of Associate Professors and
Professor of Architecture
Associate Professors of Architecture:
1. Candidate should have consistently good academic record.
2. First class B.Arch. and First class M. Arch. with Ph.D. in Architecture.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching /Research/Professional practice certified
by the CoA.
4. Post Ph.D. publications and guided/guiding Ph.D. students are highly desirable.
5. Candidates should be preferably below 50 years of age.
Professor of Architecture:
1. Candidate should have consistently good academic record.
2. First class B.Arch. and First Class M. Arch with Ph.D. in Architecture.
3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/Research/Professional practice certified
by the CoA, out of which 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor.
4. Post Ph.D. publications and guided/guiding Ph.D. students are highly desirable.
5. Candidates should be preferably below 50 years of age.
Qualification, Experience and Job Description for the post of Assistant Professors in
the Departments of:
 Architecture
 Civil Engineering
 Computer Science & Engineering
 Electronics & Communications Engineering
 Electrical & Electronics Engineering

1. Candidate should have consistently good academic record.
2. First class B.E. / B. Tech. and First class M. Tech. in respective Engineering disciplines.

4. First class M.Sc. in Mathematics with Ph.D.
5. First class MBA in HR/General Management.

7. Should have commitment to deliver good teaching and urge to pursue quality research.
8. Ph. D. is desirable.
9. Candidates should be preferably below 35 years of age.
Lady Receptionist:
Qualification: Degree with good computer knowledge.
 Should have proficiency in Kannada, Hindi and English Languages.

Scales of Pay
Pay band for Professor Post:
Rs.37, 400 – 67,000/- + AGP of Rs.10, 000/- plus allowances.
Pay band for Associate Professor Post:
Rs.37, 400 – 67,000/- + AGP of Rs. 9, 000/- plus allowances.
Pay band for Assistant Professor Post:
Rs.15, 600 - 39100/- + AGP of Rs.6, 000/- plus allowances.
